Vernon Thomas George's name was changed to Roy Joseph Flery. His biological father was Percy Albert Gardiner and he was adopted by the Flery family and lived in Fremantle, Western Australia, Australia until he was eleven and then his adoptive parents moved him to Malta.
When he was on his own, he moved to New York City where he met and married Mary Louise Swift. Their first two daughters were born in New York and subsequently they moved to California. Their daughter Marylou Flery Anderson (1946-2011) was born in Burbank, Los Angeles, California.
After his divorce, he spent time with the sweetheart of his youth and they married. They spent their time traveling around the world and back and forth from Los Angeles and Malta. |
