Jessie Sarah Neame arrived at  Hobsons Bay, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia from Plymouth aboard the Gresham on 25 June 1869.

It appears that she was traveling alone and would have had to travel from New Zealand aboard the same ship or a different ship to England and then return in order to get to  Australia.
At best each leg would have taken 90 days meaning 6 months aboard a ship plus an amount of time between arriving and leaving England. Based on the assumed date of birth she would have only just turned 16 year when she left New Zealand.
Maybe she visited relatives in England  Maybe she traveled from New Zealand to England with someone else and the returned by herself. It is a mystery as to why she did not return to New Zealand. He father and brother were in New Zealand.
Why, at such a young age did she go to Melbourne? She was married in 1871 in Harkaway, Victoria.
