The New Bridge has an address as 2-4 Argyle Street Newcastle On Tyne.
The building has since 1884 on it and assuming the street numbers are the same and it was once a terrace, this is where John Cheesemond Davy was born. It would be logical that the door on the left of the photo would have been the front door to 4 Argyle Street.
