That was a trial navigating and driving by myself from Lane Cove to Batemans Bay. Only missed two turns. 😏😏😏
The first was in Bankstown, some weird roundabout then Google tried to take me under a 2.4 metre high bridge to get back to the roundabout. Sorted that out quick smart! 😎😎😎
zall good until Batemans Bay and missed the left turn at the Caravan Park road. Google had stopped talking to me. I must have said something it didn't like. 🖕🖕🖕
Anyway all set up but it is blowing offshore at about 30 knots and 31°c. Can't even have the chairs out unless sitting on em.
Tried to fly a kite. Wind too strong. Aidyn tried fishing. Wind to strong. Tried the caravan door open. Wind too strong. Didnt even think about the awning! Kids went to the park pool. Pool closed.
Mmmm!!! Have a rest I think. 😴😴😴

Designated Rest Day. Everyone slept in this morning. Taleah was awake before Aidyn which is very unusual.
Decided to go for a short drive along the southern coast area.
The temp is 14°c with an onshore breeze making it feel like 12°c and the kids have said no to going swimming or boogeyboarding. 😬😬😬
Lots of coves to explore along the coast, but not much enthusiasm. The kids had a play on the playground at Malua Beach, but again had enough after a few minutes.
Back to the caravan to feed the ever hungry kids. 🍞🥪🍞🥪
I hope the wind on the snow is not windy or we will not be coping very well I expect.

I was quiet happy to sit in the sun out of the wind. However I got out voted (where is Julie when I need her!!) and we are off to a playground over the other side of Batemans Bay at Batehaven. 😟😟😟
Burnt off a bit of energy back to pack up for an early start for Canberra.
