John Sharp - Broken Hill Death

I regret very much to record the sad demise of Mr. John Sharp, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Sharp, and brother-in-law of Mr. F. Coffey, Bodangora, which occurred at Broken Hill on Thursday last, the cause of death was typhoid fever. Young Sharp had only recently landed on the Barrier, perhaps a few days, when he caught the dreaded malady which brought about his death. He was, for a while, an inmate of the Broken Hill Hospital. Much sympathy is felt for Mr. Sharp and family in the great loss they have sustained.
