Percival John Hillbrick 55th Birthday
A pleasant evening was spent at the residence of Mr. H. Hillbrick. Manning-street, South Fremantle, last week-end, the occasion being a surprise party to Mr. Percy Hillbrick to celebrate his birthday. Mr. Rust, Master of the Old Men's Home, referred to the excellent work Mr. Hillbrick had done in visiting the Home and Wooroloo Sanatorium and distributing comforts to the inmates, who desired him, as a mark of appreciation, to present Percy with a handsome polished jarrah walking stick, the handiwork of the old men. After supper the evening was spent in song and story, musical items being rendered by Mrs. H. Hillbrick, Messrs. Bert Hillbrick, Rust, Dunstan and Miss and Master O. Hillbrick.
